The written word, in every form –books, articles, song lyrics, quotations, have always helped me in my healing.
As you know, I believe that words are powerful, energy filled, transformational. They’re ideas that have been given a voice. They teach, co-create, signal forgiveness and open your mind to new ideas and perspectives.

The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
--this is the book to get your creativity flowing. It guides you through different exercises and journal writings to help you bring forth the muse inside of you. The Only Diet There Is by Sondra Ray
--a book I found by the suggestion of Louise Hay. It’s my favorite kind of diet: an eating plan of affirmations, prayers and forgiveness. It gets a little too “woo woo” in some places for me, but take what works and go for it.
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay
--anything she writes is powerfully inspirational, soothing and healing. This ones points to the fact that what ails us physically can be changed by our thoughts and forgiveness of our old habits. www.louisehay.com
Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom by Dr. Christiane Northrup
--a medical doctor and spiritual healer. She speaks of combing Western medicine and modalities with Eastern thought. She speaks specifically to women, about women. www.drnorthrup.com
Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss
--a medical intuitive who writes about the chakra (energy system) in our bodies. It’s a great way to learn about and get in touch with how spirit connects with our biology. www.myss.com
Women & Money by Suze Orman
--This is her newest book and it’s my favorite. It’s a practical, easy to understand guide about financial management and healing the emotional blocks we have about it. www.suzeorman.com
The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder
--Her books are timeless. The original copyright of this one is 1962. It’s full of great advice and affirmations to bring abundance of all kinds –but particularly money, into your life. A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson
--based on the spiritual teachings of A Course in Miracles, this book offers a new way of looking at the yourself and the world. It’s all about the perspective of love and forgiveness.
